Message Of Hope
Each project that I produce has a spoken "Plan of Salvation" on it. I know of people who will listen to my cd's because they like my style of music, or they remember me from "the bars and honkytonks"...I cannot let them get away without hearing how to get saved.
This was my first project and we attacked it with gusto, determination, and the "ignorant innocence" that so many of us exhibit. We knew nothing about tracking and it took a good deal of mixing and editing to get the finished product. Overall I hear good things about it, and it is one of my most requested projects with a couple of my most requested songs. Not a bad freshman effort and definitely a "God thing" as the devil fought me tooth and nail the whole time we were putting this one together.

Cinderblock Walls and Redback Hymnals (2004)
This is a collection of hymns from the Redback Church of God Hymnal and the Redback Inspiration Hymnal. This CD includes lots of favorites and some new arrangements of old standards. My grand-niece Savannah is on the cover and that shot turned out just as I had envisioned it. I wanted to give the listener the thought of an old country church, back years ago, with the windows open and the ceiling fans spinning...and power of God moving everywhere.
Songlist:
I Feel Like Travelin' On
Daystar
Jesus Hold My Hand
The Way That He Loves
I Never Shall Forget the Day
Too Late To Pray
He Set Me Free
Just As I Am
Consider the Lilies
Gettin' Ready to Leave this World
On this project, my nephew Chris did the Plan of Salvation. There is also a "recorded live and as is" old standard at the end of the CD.
Voice of Many Waters (2005)
This was my first "pro" project. We recorded at Snippa Creek, with my buddy Randy Miller. We used Nashville pickers. I wrote the songs on this one...well, except for one song; "I've Got My Foot on the Rock"...that was an oldie. The musical style is a bit more hard-driving and edgy...I was told once my music was "road music" and showed my influences from Skynyrd to Buddy Holly. I just know that we went in the direction we felt led and it worked out...and that's how God operates!
I got the title while touring Cades Cove in the Smokey Mtns with my mom. I got out of the car to take some shots of a couple of waterfalls and the sound was so deafening, it was hard to hear. I thought of that verse in Revelation and how one day we will hear the Lord speak with a sound that will completely envelope and overcome us. That was an awesome moment for me. Voice of Many Waters was a project I considered a milestone for me...it moved things to a different level.

Back to Where it Started (2006)
This was a visit back to the songs that influenced me growing up...with a stopover at some songs I fell in love with after I got saved. There are three new songs on this one that I wrote. The others are "standards". This project also includes the "Fema Trailer Song" which is a light-hearted look at life after Katrina, in which I lost my home. Randy Miller and I make up the band on this one and we had a blast putting the project together.

Master of the Wind
Sweet Beulah Land
He's Still in the Fire (with The Stanleys)
